Harrowing figures show England's crumbling hospitals have been hit by hundreds of sewage leaks in the past year - with patients slipping and parts of ceilings falling down.
Grim data from 55 NHS Trusts show there were 456 sewage leaks in hospitals over 12 months - a situation branded a "national scandal" by Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey.
The sickening cases include reports of "coloured water" leaking through the ceiling in a respiratory day unit, as well as urine and "faecal matter" leaking into a security office.
