Nate Diaz And Jorge Masvidal To Rematch In Boxing Match

Nate Diaz

A highly anticipated rematch between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal is scheduled to take place on June 1 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This time, the two fighters will meet in a boxing match, a departure from their previous MMA clash at UFC 244 in November 2019.

Their first encounter saw Masvidal emerge victorious via TKO due to a doctor's stoppage, claiming the mythical BMF title. The upcoming bout is contracted for 10 rounds at 175 pounds and will be promoted under the banner of 'Last Man Standing' by Fanmio.

Both Diaz and Masvidal, former UFC stars, have left the promotion, with Diaz as a free agent and Masvidal having retired. Despite this, Masvidal has received approval from the UFC to participate in the fight as he is still under contract.

This rematch stems from their previous fight where Masvidal secured the win in the fourth round after the ringside physician halted the bout due to a cut on Diaz. The desire to settle unfinished business and seek revenge is driving both fighters to step into the ring once again.

Diaz, who made his pro boxing debut last August against Jake Paul, will be looking to bounce back from that loss. On the other hand, Masvidal is returning to competition following his retirement in April 2023 after a UFC defeat to Gilbert Burns.

With Masvidal expressing confidence in his abilities and determination to prove his superiority, the stage is set for an intense showdown between the two seasoned fighters. Fanmio, known for distributing major combat sports events, is excited to present this highly anticipated rematch to fans worldwide.

The event promises to be a spectacle as Diaz and Masvidal aim to settle the score and determine who will emerge as the last man standing in the boxing ring on June 1.
