NAPOLI scorer Giacomo Raspadori reckons lesser teams would have been terrified of the Ibrox atmosphere after his goal helped dump Rangers in the Champions League.
The Italians eventually eased to a 3-0 win in Glasgow to make it two wins out of two in the group against the ten men of Rangers.
For the second game in a row, 22-year-old Raspadori netted a late goal for Napoli as he followed up his winner against Spezia at the weekend with the second goal at Ibrox, which ended the contest.
And he admitted he was stunned by the white-hot atmosphere of Ibrox.
He said: "This was played in an atmosphere that could have frightened other teams. But it turned into a beautiful evening.
"I thought we were really good and the important thing was to keep going until the end
"I also think we deserve credit for recovering from the two missed penalties. It's not easy to react the way we did. In fact, that made us all the more determined to win.
"We are very strong in an attacking front and we have to build from this. We have made an excellent start in the league and in Europe, but the season is very young."
Meanwhile, Matteo Politano revealed he should have been on the two missed penalties taken by Piotr Zielinski.
Rangers keeper Allan McGregor twice saved a spot kick and the retaken effort from the Polish midfielder, but couldn't keep out a third penalty from Politano, who gave Napoli the lead.
Politano said: "I was the penalty taker, but Piotr then decided he wanted to take it.
"I'm sorry for him because he missed the penalties. But I think we totally deserved the win because we dominated the game.
"We have a great team this season who approaches every match in the same way.
"Ibrox is a beautiful stadium and we regret not having to be able to celebrate with our fans, but the important thing is that we won."
