Nail salon nonpayment for service is an issue, but one Alabama woman alleges a salon demanded prepayment for another reason: ‘We love Black people’

Nail salon owners have cited unpaid services as a reason for requiring customers to pay in advance. One Alabama woman says a Montgomery salon asked her to prepay and suggested the salon may have done so because she is Black. Nail Pro’s side of the incident has not been independently confirmed.

Creator Dynastie (@dynastiesuavey) identified the business as Nail Pro in Montgomery while describing her experience in a TikTok post. She said she was told to pay before receiving her service and questioned why she had to pay in advance.
