Myles Garrett and Lane Johnson classily helped each other with technique at a Browns-Eagles joint practice

During a joint practice between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cleveland Browns, two of the NFL’s best players spent a little time together refining their respective crafts.

While teams normally aren’t helping each other in NFL joint practices as much as they’re competing against each other, a video caught Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett and Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson working with each other on some football technique moves.

These two would certainly be competitors on the field, but in this practice session, it was just iron sharpening iron for the sake of sportsmanship. It’s really cool to see two great NFL players like this just trying to help the other get better.

Again, this isn’t a very common thing to see, much less between two elite players at their respective positions. However, Johnson recently said Garrett was one of the NFL’s five-best pass rushers, showing that he’s got admiration for Garrett’s game.

It’s clear that Garrett and Johnson have a ton of respect for each other, and it’s certainly going to make both guys even better than they were before they worked together this week.
