As one of the best defensive players in football, Myles Garrett has earned the right to play loose and have a little fun during games. But I’m not sure we’ve ever seen a defender pull off the moves he showed on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
With the entire Cleveland Browns’ defense dominating the Bengals’ offense — especially up front — Garrett started to break out a fake “crossover” pre-snap. It was almost as if the annual Defensive Player of the Year-caliber player was playing basketball, trying to slide past the hapless offensive linemen tasked with blocking him toward the rim.
And yes, Garrett succeeded in his mission to attack the hoop:
Crossover hesi mid game?

As an overall defense, the Browns recorded two sacks and 10 (!) quarterback hits in a 24-3 win. No wonder Garrett started treating the field like it was an NBA basketball court. To the Browns’ defensive line, it probably was!
This was how Twitter reacted to Garrett's crossover moves
