Myleene Klass says she will have almost no say in her wedding to PR executive Simon Motson, as her daughters are planning the whole thing.
The TV star, 44, says her daughters Ava, 14, and Hero, 11 are taking the reigns on her special day, and even want to walk her down the aisle.
Myleene told The Sun that Ava and Hero's plans for the big day include costume changes and a concert, and that she will "probably only get to choose the dress.
“We’re right in the middle of it all, because Ava’s got 12 pages of Pinterest images," she said.
"Hero has four costume changes, from: ‘I’m going to show up as Wonder Woman and be coming down from the ceiling,’ to: ‘I’m gonna wear a white tux.’
"I’m only probably going to get to choose the dress."
In a touching gesture, Myleene says her daughters want to give her away, and are training the couple's two-year-old son Apollo to walk with the rings.
“They have decided they want to give me away – that’s what they want to do,” the singer continued.
“They said: ‘You’re our mother.’ It’s lovely. I’m just letting them choose that role.
“Now we’re trying to decide how and where, because Covid put a spanner in things. We couldn’t travel and we didn’t know who could be there.
"We haven’t set a date, but we have a closer idea of when we’re going to do it.”
Simon popped the question to Myleene in 2020 with an emerald-cut black diamond ring. The romantic proposal saw businessman Simon replicate the dinner they shared on their first date.
Her engagement comes after the radio presenter swore she would never marry again following her split from ex-husband Graham Quinn.
The pair had been together for 11 years and had married just six months before things got bitter and the pair split up.
