Mykhaylo Mudryk appears keen on a move to high-flying Arsenal before the summer transfer deadline.
The highly-rated Shakhtar Donetsk winger is reported to be among Mikel Arteta’s targets as he potentially seeks both a new central midfielder and replacement for record signing Nicolas Pepe before the window shuts at 11pm BST on Thursday night.
Everton were rumoured to have seen a bid for Mudryk rejected last week, while he also turned down a switch to Brentford earlier this year.
However, the 21-year-old - favourably compared to a range of players including Lionel Messi, Neymar and even ex-Arsenal star Alexander Hleb - clearly looks upon a possible transfer to the early Premier League pacesetters more favourably, if his social media usage is anything to go by.

As per The Metro, and in true modern football fashion, Mudryk has set tongues wagging by ‘liking’ via his official Instagram account a post from a transfer account claiming that Arsenal are pushing hard to complete a deal for his services this week.
Mudryk, whom reports suggest could be available for a fee of just £21.5million, is not the only player being linked with a switch to north London before Thursday’s deadline, however.
Arsenal are said to have launched a £20m bid for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo amid ongoing links to the likes of Leicester’s Youri Tielemans and PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo, though it seems that Paris Saint-Germain’s Argentine international Leandro Paredes is now on his way to Juventus despite interest from the Gunners.
