Manchester City fans were quick to react to Pep Guardiola's goal celebration in front of Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas during the Blues' win over Jurgen Klopp's side.
The away side took the lead in the first half through Mohamed Salah, but City levelled proceedings in the 27th minute. Julian Alvarez - who played in place of the injured Erling Haaland - converted from close range, and Guardiola couldn't contain his emotions.
Tsimikas, alongside fellow substitute Joel Matip, was walking back to the Liverpool bench when Alvarez slotted home to make it 1-1. Guardiola, delighted with the goal, jumped around his technical area and got in Tsimikas' face. The Greek full-back kept his cool and avoided the City boss, while teammate Arthur Melo received similar treatment.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, who was on punditry duty for BT Sport, admitted he was unsure how Tsimikas managed to keep his cool. Meanwhile, City supporters couldn't help but joke about Guardiola's cheeky celebration...
Guardiola's celebrations were less controversial in the second period, even though the Blues raced into a lead thanks to quick-fire goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, who made it 3-1 before the hour mark. The home side grabbed their fourth goal of the game courtesy of Jack Grealish.
The Blues, who also defeated Liverpool in the Carabao Cup in December, face Southampton in their next Premier League match - hoping to keep pace with Arsenal at the top end of the table.
