‘Must be corrected’: Trump threatens Canada with 50% aircraft tariff; dispute over jet certification

US President Donald Trump on Thursday warned Canada that the United States could impose a 50% tariff on all aircraft sold in the country. The move comes as tensions rise between Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Trump said the threat was in response to Canada refusing to certify jets from Savannah, Georgia-based Gulfstream Aerospace.
