Musk suggests SpaceX IPO reports are "accurate"

Elon Musk on Wednesday evening suggested that SpaceX will go public in 2026.

Why it matters: Axios' Dan Primack reported earlier that SpaceX had told investors about the planned initial public offering and that it could be the largest IPO ever, topping Saudi Aramco's $25.6 billion raise in 2019.

  • SpaceX is the world's second-most valuable unicorn company after OpenAI, per Primack.

Driving the news: Musk said in a brief statement on X in response to Ars Technica journalist Eric Berger posting "Here's why I think SpaceX is going public soon": "As usual, Eric is accurate."
