Murderer found dead in Shotts Prison cell took his own life

Prison Murder

A murderer was found dead while serving a life sentence at Shotts Prison.

A Fatal Accident Inquiry (FAI) heard that Brian Connor died his cell in the jail's Lamont Hall.

The 44-year-old was last seen alive by a fellow prisoner less than three hours before his body was discovered.
