A mum who lost her baby daughter to Strep A said the pain has not diminished after 24 years - and warned parents to look out for the signs in their children.
Karen Aldred's nine-month-old baby Megan Barber fell gravely ill at around Christmas time in 1998, and was rushed to hospital when she "turned blue".
Megan was put on a ventilator, but tragically medics were unable to save her.
