Mum wakes up in 2022 after Christmas collapse to be told docs need to amputate her arms and legs

A mum who collapsed on Christmas Day with suspected backache awoke in the new year to the shocking news she needed four of her limbs amputated.

Sadie Kemp, 34 was enjoying the festive season with her family and had been laughing and tucking into her Christmas dinner hours before experiencing acute back pain.

After collapsing, she awoke in the new year to find herself in a hospital.
