When Eszter Platthy moved into her Stockport home last November, the entire property was painted a dull and unimaginative magnolia. The 44-year-old wanted to put her own stamp on the new home, and decided to tackle the transformation room by room - starting with the small upstairs bathroom.
Transforming a small bathroom into a pretty place can feel like an impossible task due to a lack of space, but Eszter was desperate to ditch the dark grey industrial-style floor and add some greenery.
Revamping on a budget isn’t always easy, but the mum-of-two has managed to achieve a stunning new look using bargains from B&M and charity shops, costing less than £50 in total.
