A mum said she was about to have a panic attack before a kind woman stepped in and saved her day.
Leanne Pate had gone for a day out with her son Theo, eight, to the Formby coastline yesterday. However, after having a kickabout with her son she ventured into the woods.
Leanne, from Wigan, was unfamiliar with the terrain and quickly became lost so she started asking for directions but this left her more confused. After walking around for two hours without signal or water, she stumbled upon a woman who realising how upset Leanne was, helped her back to the car park.
