A mum was forced to jump into her car and scream for help after a dangerous dog attacked her.
An out of control dog was seen running around an industrial estate in North Wales before it bit three people, a court heard. David Sumner, of Trafalgar Road in Egremont, appeared before magistrates court in Mold on Thursday morning where he admitted having a dog dangerously out of control.
He also admitted a charge of common assault during the incident, which happened on October 1 last year in Saltney, North Wales Live reports. Prosecutor Julia Galston said the 42-year-old was at the River Lane Industrial Estate with his two Caucasian Shepherds at around 10.30am when police were called to the two animals running loose - one of which had already bitten several people.

The court heard that Thomas Graham had been on a morning run at the industrial estate when the female dog "cornered him" and barked before he was bitten on the arm. A second man, John Main, had been walking to work in the area and fell over when the animals ran by him. He was not bitten but was injured when he hit some nearby railings.
Ms Galston told the court that a mum, who had not long dropped her child off for a martial arts session at the estate, was forced to jump into her car and "scream for help" after the female dog bit her on the hip. The fourth victim, Marek Midura, was bitten "a number of times" on the arm at a garage whilst he tried to defend his own small dog which was being attacked by Sumner's animal.
Sumner arrived and put his dogs into a van with help from a man who was not named by the prosecutor. However when Ms Midura tried to photograph the van, a "clear liquid" was thrown at her from a bottle.
The magistrates were told both dogs were held in police custody. The female that bit members of the public is still under assessment by police and the male has been rehomed, the court heard.
Keith Webster, defence counsel, appealed for the court to postpone their sentencing and order a report into the defendant's background be completed. This request was granted and Sumner was told he'd be back in the dock next month for sentencing.
