A mum has told the story of her little boy after he died aged just two. Brave Nathan Tyreman was born with interstitial lung disease.
The condition made it difficult for the toddler to get enough oxygen into his lungs and, after fighting for months, he died on May 7. Doctors "gave it their all" to keep Nathan, but mum Cheryl, dad Daniel and brother Jacob have been left heartbroken.
The family, from Yarm, Stockton-on-Tees, is now waiting for a pathologist's report to find out more about Nathan's passing. In the meantime, Cheryl is focusing on organising a fundraiser in his memory.
