Mum’s terror as baby trapped in sinking car before hero dad rescues child from Storm Bert floodwaters

A father heroically rescued his 11-month-old son from a sinking car during Storm Bert flooding as the baby’s mother watched on in horror.

Paige Newsome said her partner Andre Randles pulled their child to safety through the car window as water poured into the vehicle in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.
