The mum of young person at the centre of the BBC presenter scandal reportedly said she is standing by her allegations and questioned how her child can afford an expensive lawyer.
Earlier this evening, BBC News printed an article containing extracts from a letter from a lawyer acting on behalf of the young person who is disputing the allegations made by their mother and step-father in a newspaper last week.
On Friday, July 7, The Sun reported an unidentified BBC presenter allegedly paid a teenager more than £35,000 for sexually explicit pictures.
