A mum of two young children died from appendicitis on holiday after doctors said she had a colon inflammation and gave her antibiotics - and declared her fit to fly. The family of the anonymous woman has now won a six-figure payout.
The woman, named only as Sarah, was admitted to hospital after arriving in Jamaica and died around a week later. Her children were just eight and 12-years-old at the time of her death.
They are now cared for by their grandparents, who brought a case of clinical negligence against the hospital, reports MyLondon.
