The mother of a Scots teenager in a coma after being hit by a van has spoken of her "living hell" as her son fights for his life.

Flynn Scott is in a critical condition at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the accident, which took place near the A944 Kingswells, Westhill and Alford junction on May 29.

Police Scotland are to be investigated over the incident involving the 18-year-old, amid claims officers helped Flynn after a night out in Aberdeen city centre shortly before he was struck by the Mercedes van.
