An “act of kindness” which cost an NHS worker her job has left her feeling suicidal as she works on an appeal.
Lynne Kings, 53, was dismissed from Birmingham Women's Hospital after she accessed the system to find which ward her son’s ex-girlfriend - who had just given birth- was on.
The following week she was called in to be told a complaint had been lodged which the hospital was looking into.
