A mum was disgusted when a strand of hair and a nit were allegedly found in her four-year-old daughter's McDonald's soft drink.
Myla Lingard's dad only spotted what he thought was an insect at the bottom of her cup after she finished her drink on Thursday night.
Myla's parents claimed to have found further hair in her Smarties McFlurry just before she was about to devour it.
The youngster's mum, Chantelle Gledhill, said she felt "sick" and was left unable to eat after the grim discovery.
Chantelle told the Telegraph & Argus : "I am really upset and utterly disgusted with the full situation.
"She took the lid of the Fanta and started sucking on the ice but her dad discovered what looks like a nit spider in the bottom.
"I haven't been able to eat since last night because it has stuck in my mind and I feel sick."
Chantelle has been worried that her daughter may have also swallowed other things that were left in her drink.
The four-year-old girl's dad was furious after the discovery and complained to the McDonald's branch that they ordered from in Five Lane Ends, Bradford.
He rejected the offer of a refund and two free meals and said the family would never buy from the fast food chain again.
A McDonald's spokesperson said: “Food safety and hygiene is of the utmost importance to us and we place great emphasis on quality control.
"We’d like to apologise to the customer for their experience on this occasion.
"When the matter was brought to our attention we offered the customer a full refund and have since conducted a thorough investigation.”
It comes after a woman vowed to stop eating McDonald's after finding a cheeseburger she'd kept for five years.
Receptionist Megan Condry claimed she purchased two cheeseburgers and some fries from a McDonald's drive-thru back in November 2017.

But after finishing off one burger, she threw the other in the back of her car and planned to eat it later.
The 41-year-old from Washington DC, forgot about the burger for a few days and when she found it later noticed it hadn't started to go bad, so she decided to conduct an 'experiment' to see how long it would stay that way.
Megan stored the burger in the back of her wardrobe for five years and discovered it again last month while sorting out her Christmas decorations - and she was flabbergasted by the results.
Despite it being 'rock hard' Megan said it still looks the same as the day she bought it.
The bun, beef patty and cheese remained intact with no sign of mould or rot having taken hold.
McDonald's said it only uses 100 per cent USDA inspected beef and that there were "no preservatives or fillers" in its beef patties.
Megan said: "It was untouched until around three weeks ago.
"I was in the closet sorting my Christmas stuff and I knocked the bag and the burger rolled out. I'd forgotten about it.
"It was rock hard, as hard as a hockey puck. I could probably smash a window with it. Everything is completely dry and it could start to crumble.
"There was no smell whatsoever and it looks the same as the day I bought it.
"I've tried to pry it apart but if I try to take it apart, I think it would break. It's just a solid mass.
"I want to know what it looks like on the inside but I can't see it.
"It hasn't shrunk in size or evaporated. I assume there's no bacteria to it, it makes me sick.
"I think it has so many preservatives [in it] or how else would it have lasted that long?"
A spokesperson for McDonald's USA commented: "Our burgers are made only with 100 per cent USDA inspected beef. There are no preservatives or fillers in our patties and the only thing ever added is a touch of salt and pepper on the grill."
