A woman who thought she had heatstroke is fighting for her life in Turkey after her heart stopped and she collapsed with swelling on her brain. Melissa Kinsella, 30, was on holiday with her partner and family when she collapsed in the airport after suffering a seizure.
The mum-of-three, known as Missy, was rushed to hospital and is now in intensive care in a coma, unable to breathe for herself. Friend Rebecca Dath said the 30-year-old had complained the day before she collapsed that she thought she may have heatstroke.
Rebecca told The Echo: "She was vomiting, felt unwell and that was the day before. When she got to the airport, she had a seizure and collapsed. That's been it since, she has been in intensive care on life support in Turkey."
