Mum, 83, texts daughter 'please help me' after she was attacked in care home

An elderly mum texted her daughter "please help me" after she was attacked in her care home.

Kathleen Jennings, 83, first pressed the alarm bell for help, but when nobody reportedly came she then phoned the police and messaged her daughter.

She told her daughter Jayne Forshaw, 64, that another resident allegedly hit her across the head, hurled her walker down a corridor and hit her in the arms.
