Multiple people have been rushed to hospital in critical condition after being pulled from a freezing lake. Emergency services have swarmed a Babbs Mill Lake in Solihull following the incident.
Police were called to the area just after 4pm on Sunday (November 11). According to reports a huge number of police, firefighters and paramedics are currently at the scene with a number of vehicles parked in neighbouring streets.

Birmingham Live reports that West Midlands Police has taped off the lake as investigation continue. A statement from the West Midlands police reads: "We are currently at the scene of a serious incident at Babbs Mill Park, Fordbridge Road, Kingshurst, Solihull. A number of people have been pulled from a lake and are being transported to hospital.
"They are believed to be in a critical condition. We are working with fire and rescue, and ambulance colleagues at the scene and will provide further updates in due course."
