Mukesh Kumar becomes second Indian to make international debut in all three formats on same tour

NEW DELHI: Pacer Mukesh Kumar achieved a rare feat on Thursday, becoming only the second Indian player after T Natarajan to make international debut in all the three formats on the same tour.

Natarajan was the first player to make his Test, ODI and T20I debut on the 2020-21 Australian tour. He was initially picked as a net bowler for the Border-Gavaskar trophy and later scripted history.

Mukesh, who was handed a T20 debut in the first T20I against West Indies, has already made his Test and ODI debuts in the ongoing Windies tour. Mukesh, who exhibited his skills in both the Test and ODI series against West Indies, earned quite a lot of praise for his control.

Bengal paceman Mukesh, who hails from a humble background, has always been a promising figure in the domestic circuit and it's a dream come true moment for him for all his hard efforts over the years.

Alongside Mukesh, young Tilak Varma also made his T20I debut against West Indies.
