The scripted series will explore the tragic death of the 6-year-old child beauty pageant contestant, whose life was cut short in her family's Boulder, Colorado home in December 1996.
The project, still in its early stages, aims to shed light on the media frenzy and intense public interest that surrounded the case, leaving a nation grappling with unanswered questions. The series will be spearheaded by writers Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach, who have sold the concept to the production studios and will serve as executive producers.
