If the NCAA Tournament started today, Michigan State hockey would be safely in the field.
The Spartans currently sit as the No. 7 overall team in the country, which slots them as a No. 2 seed in the Sioux Falls, S.D. Region in USCHO.com’s updated bracketology post. The Spartans would face No. 3 seed Providence in the current projected NCAA Tournament bracket from USCHO.com.
Michigan State is one of four Big Ten teams in USCHO.com’s bracket projection. The other teams included are Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.
