Michigan State football has picked up another nice addition via the transfer portal.
Old Dominion transfer linebacker Wayne Matthews announced on Wednesday that he’s committed to Michigan State. Matthews starred for Old Dominion the past two years and has two years of eligibility left.
According to Justin Thind of 247Sports, Matthews ranked as Pro Football Focus’ No. 44 linebacker (out of 775) during the 2023 season. He recorded 135 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss this past season.
