Mrs. Davis has finally arrived in the UK on ITVX having generated a lot of buzz in the US when it was on Peacock.
The series sees Betty Gilpin star as a disgruntled nun Sister Simone, formerly Elizabeth Abbott, who is determined to use her beliefs to take on technology. When her monastery is sold and all the nuns are relocated, Elizabeth teams up with her ex-boyfriend Preston Wiley (Jake McDorman) to crush the widely used AI programme known as Mrs. Davis which is said to have eradicated war and famine. However, a skeptical Simone blames Mrs. Davis for a tragedy in her family's history. When Simone finds herself confronted by her past, her revenge mission leaves her questioning everything she once held true.
Not surprisingly, Mrs. Davis hails from executive producers and co-writers Tara Rodriguez and Lost creator Damon Lindelof, so if you’re getting Lost vibes then you're in the right place.
