A well known Leeds ice cream van owner is offering out free ice creams on his last day of business after 25 years of operating in Roundhay Park.
Mr Whippy Leeds has been in operation since 1962 and have a number of vans across the city operated by Ian Smith and his team. Now the family, with three generations working in the business, have decided to cut back the operation.
Last month, the team confirmed they'd stop serving ice creams in the North Leeds park. The rest of the business in events and weddings will continue as normal.
