Motorcyclist dies and man arrested after crash on Scottish island

A MOTORCYCLE rider has died, and the driver of a car has been arrested, following a crash in the Isle of Lewis.

Police were called to the A857 Ness to Stornoway road, near to New Park, Newmarket, at around 4.40pm on Saturday following reports of a crash between a silver MG and a black BMW S1000 RS motorcycle.
