New Aberdeen boss Jim Goodwin is set for his Dons dugout debut against Motherwell after Fir Park passed a pitch inspection.
The Irishman was confirmed as the new Pittodrie manager on Saturday morning and the club announced he would take immediate charge for the Premiership trip to Lanarkshire.
But Scotland has been battered by wild winds and heavy rainfall this week and it put the fixture in doubt.
Motherwell scheduled a "precautionary" assessment at 10am to ensure fans didn't have to travel unnecessarily but the game has been given the green light.
Goodwin has signed a two-and-a-half year deal to replace Stephen Glass at Pittodrie.
The 40-year-old leaves St Mirren in the Premiership top six following a successful stint in charge which also included runs to the Scottish Cup and League Cup semi-finals last term.
