Queen's Park striker Connor Shields has been named cinch SPFL Championship Player of the Month for February.
The 25-year-old from Coatbridge is on a loan spell from Premiership side Motherwell and scored four goals in three games during the month.
Shields netted one each in the 3-2 defeat at Morton, the 1-1 draw with Raith Rovers, and the thumping 4-1 win over Hamilton Accies.
The Spiders can go five points clear at the top of the Championship with a win over struggling Cove Rangers on Friday.
Shields said: "I have enjoyed being a Queen's Park player and it is great to be recognised so early into my time here.
"Winning a high-profile game against Ayr and then scoring in the next three has certainly helped me settle in.
"Queen's are a team that like to attack, and attack with pace, and that has helped me find the net.
"The two goals against Hamilton were probably my favourites, as the build-up play from the team was really good.
"I would like to think I have built a good platform here for what should be an exciting end to the season for everyone at the club."
