Calling a day on his playing career was tough to do, but former Motherwell star Andy Rose couldn't say no to his next step.
The 32-year-old spent just under 18 months at Fir Park after joining in 2017 and played a part in Stephen Robinson's side that reached two cup finals.
During that time, he had an eye on his and the Steelmen's future, a spell that got him thinking.
Now the former midfielder is enjoying his next stint in life as assistant coach at MLS club Seattle Sounders.
It's a different assignment entirely, but the challenge is one Rose believes he can rise to.
Now the ex-Steelman sits down on the Lanarkshire Live Sport Podcast to discuss his latest move and time at Fir Park.
