Mother jailed over baby daughter's drowning in tub

The grandmother of a baby who drowned in an accident has described to a sentencing hearing how she "lost a part" of her life after the seven-month-old girl died.

Lavinia Alison Murray, 24, pleaded guilty on Wednesday in Brisbane Supreme Court to the manslaughter of her daughter Trinity on February 5, 2021 at Murgon, northwest of Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
