An Arizona couple discovered an unexpected privacy problem after buying a new home: Their rainfall shower window offered a surprisingly clear view from outside. TikTok creator Kara Metzger (@kara.metzger) documented the discovery in an August 2026 video with millions of views.
In her post, Metzger showed the bathroom from outside the home and revealed that the window beside the shower allowed the bathroom interior to remain visible from the yard. The text overlay on Metzger’s video read, “POV: My fiancé and I realizing that the beautiful rainfall shower in our new house has apparently been a neighborhood attraction.”
