Morrisons supermarkets to offer customers free hot meal using discreet phrase

Morrisons supermarkets across the UK will be offering customers a free hot meal throughout the half term to give people a "helping hand" in the midst of the cost of living crisis. The latest deal at Morrisons cafes will allow people to have a hearty meal by using a discreet phrase.

Heinz and Morrisons have joined forces to help people this winter. Customers will get a free jacket potato and a pot of Heinz beans from café tills when they "Ask for Henry."

The supermarket's cafes have always offered its customers great money-saving deals. For example everyday, all day, kids can eat for free at cafes when you buy an adult meal for £4.99 or over. The other includes Too Good To Go bags where you can pick up £10 worth of food for just £3.09.

A poster for the latest hearty jacket potato and beans was shared on social media by a news and media website Skint Dad - which many people said is a "lovely thing to do" in the current circumstances where families are struggling to make ends meet.

This subtle way to get a hot meal could help many people across the UK. The deal starts from Wednesday, October 26 and will last until Sunday, November 6.

The poster from Morrisons and Heinz reads: "We want to give a little helping hand this half term... something our founder Henry Heinz was known for. Just 'Ask for Henry' at a Morrisons cafe and get a warming and hearty jacket potato with Beanz on us."

Unit of 1 meal per customer per day. Offer is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash."

People were impressed with the Morrisons cafes deal and commented: "What a lovely thing to do and discreet. Someone might get a warm meal rather than nothing."
