Supermarket giant Morrisons has been slammed by shoppers after they noticed how much some coffee is being sold for in stores. A shopper says she demanded a refund and went to Home Bargains when she saw the eye-watering charge on her receipt.
Angela Howells-Owen went in to Morrisons to buy a 190g jar of Nescafe Gold Alta Rica. But she couldn't believe her eyes when she read the price tag.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains website, Angela Howells-Owen said: "Popped into Morrisons yesterday to pick some coffee up (alta rica) got to the till and it scanned at £9.00. I obviously queried it and they said it was correct! Got a refund and went to home bargains. Just sharing incase any body else buys it as part of a big shop, I don't always check. "
