More than one million people warned they face a fine from HMRC

HMRC

A warning has been issued by HM Revenue and Customs to the 1.5 million people who are late with their tax returns.

There is just one week left to file for 2020/21 before fines kick in, HMRC said.

The deadline is usually January 31 every year for self assessment, but this year the deadline was extended to February 28, reports the Mirror.
