More than 80 parking fines as beach goers clog up family streets

Police issued more than 80 parking fines as beach goers clogged up family streets.

Merseyside Police issued 87 tickets to cars causing obstructions on roads in Liverpool and Sefton on Sunday, April 17. Officers said the 'inconsiderate' parking was forcing people to walk in the road instead of on the pavement.

Pictures shared by Merseyside Police show cars parking with two wheels on the pavement, leave no room for people, prams or wheelchair users to get by.
