More than 100 affordable homes built on behalf of a west London council are set to be demolished due to the insolvency of the contractor developing the scheme.
Ealing Council said demolishing some of the sites under construction or already nearly built by Henry Construction would be a more “cost-effective and better long-term solution” than attempting to continue. This includes 53 homes at the Dean Gardens estate in West Ealing.
