More firms risk failing than during COVID era: report

A greater proportion of Australian companies face failure within the next 12 months than during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report citing auditors.

In 2025, auditors flagged 'going concern' warnings for 28 per cent of Australian-listed non-mining companies, up from one-in-five in 2021, according to the Chartered Accountants report.
