Some serious après-ski vibes will be brought to the centre of Newcastle in time for Christmas, with the arrival of Moosenwirt Alpine Bar and Village.
There was excitement in the autumn when it was confirmed that Newcastle Christmas Market would be making its return after a Covid enforced hiatus, with the Grainger Market also announcing extended opening hours for the festive period. And now, after things started to feel very Christmassy with the reveal of this year's Fenwick's Window, there's now another reason to be merry and bright, with the news that Moosenwirt is coming to Grey Street.
Immediately after the Christmas light switch on Tuesday, November 15 the teams behind the new venture will arrive for a swift construction process and Moosenwirt will appear on Grey Street, near the iconic Monument, with an entrance located near to the ‘END Clothing’ store and the site continuing down the street until the corner of Lloyds Bank at Market Street.
