Scotland’s largest pumpkin patch, based in East Lothian, is expecting around 23,000 in the run-up to Halloween.
Excited guests getting into the spooky season spirit are expected to flock to the Balgone Estate near North Berwick. Visitors from as far as Manchester and Newcastle have previously made the journey to the eight-acre site on the east coast.
Around schoolfriend of 21 different varieties are grown at the massive farm, as well as squashes, which are available on a pick-your-own basis.

David Grant-Suttie, 24, whose family owns the farm, started the pumpkin picking plot with in the countryside Alex Humphreys, 23, three years ago.
Alex said: "We are keen on being the largest supplier of pumpkins in Scotland. "This is the third year running. Our main goal is to get people out in the countryside.
“We are quite proud of how much it has grown. We are best friends from school and I stayed with David's family during lockdown. The most we have had is 2,500 a day. We are expecting 23,000 over the month of October."
Open from Friday-Sunday, but people keen to visit will have to be quick to secure their spot with the site nearly sold out for October.
