Monkeypox can be ‘easily contained’ if we act quickly, says World Health Organisation

The World Health Organisation said Friday that countries can still contain the monkeypox outbreak if they act quickly enough.

The virus is endemic in west and central African countries, but it has recently spread to other countries where it is not endemic, including the UK, raising alarm.
