Monday weather for Leeds as Met Office snow warning in place again

The snowy and icy weather might not be over yet in Leeds' weather forecast for today.

According to the Met Office, snow and ice could be coming to much of Yorkshire from around 5pm on Monday, March 13. That yellow weather warning is lasting until Tuesday morning.

However, it looks more like much of Yorkshire will be seeing rain and sleet rather than snow throughout Monday. It's likely to be a very wet day wherever in Leeds you're based - read on below for the forecast across the city.

There will be rain sporadically throughout the night with some dark clouds in the early hours of Monday. That rain will start to get heavier from 6am.

But there will be some sun mixed in with the rain clouds from 7am. Those spots of sun will be lasting until around 2pm.

Then the clouds are coming back out, though there might be a dry spot between 3pm and 4pm. But then the rain and dark clouds are descending again from 5pm and lasting until the end of the day.

The day will hit a maximum temperature of 12 degrees around 2am, and cool off throughout the day. The sun will rise at 6.27am and set at 6.06pm.
