The tightly winding nature of the Circuit de Monaco means that whoever tops the timesheets in Qualifying today really should top the podium tomorrow. For that reason this could be Ferrari and Aston Martin's moment to shine, but Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez posted the fastest times in Final Practice, with Lance Stroll and Carlos Sainz the best of the rest.

Red Bull duo Verstappen and Sergio Perez have been near-enough untouchable on most race days, but Charles Leclerc and Fernando Alonso have both managed to give them a proper run for their money in the Qualifying sessions. No non-Red Bull driver has managed to win a race yet this season – that may well change in the Principality.
Verstappen comes into this weekend off the back of one of those performances that must make him feel utterly invincible. He gave Perez an eight-place headstart in Miami and still beat him to the chequered flag, an astounding feat that stretched his lead at the top of the drivers' championship standings to 14 points.
The pressure's also on for Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, whose bad weekends have been so disastrous that they've already provoked the ire of Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi, who is threatening to swing the axe unless things improve drastically.
